It is with great pleasure that we invite you to 1^st International Congress on Coastal Research (ICCR 2020), to be held at the faculty of Sciences and techniques of AL Hociema, Morocco from Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th July 2021. The 1^st ICCR covers all aspects of coastal research including but not limited to relevant aspects of geological sciences, biology (ecology and coastal marine ecosystems), geomorphology (physical geography), climate, littoral oceanography, coastal hydrogeology, environmental (resource) management, engineering, and remote sensing.  Policy, coastal law, and relevant issues such as conflict resolution and risk management and Integrated Coastal Zone Management would also be covered by the congress.

The 1^st ICCR brings together delegates from all over the world to collaborate and discuss the most current coastal research studies and projects.  It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of coastal environments sciences.

All Short papers will be reviewed by two or three experts from the committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted (Registered & Presented) Short papers of the 1^st ICCR will be collected in the conference proceedings, which is to be published with E3S Web of Conferences, Open Access publication series dedicated to archiving conference proceedings in all areas related to Environment, Energy and Earth Sciences (eISSN: 2267-1242), indexed by Google Scholar, CAS, DOAJ, CPCI (Web of Science), EBSCO, ProQuest, Scopus, and Ei Compendex.
